service charge. You choose the combination that's best for you.
Where can it be used?
The Certificate can be redeemed for vacation travel purchases made at any
American Express Travel Agency in Canada. Eligible purchases include airline
tickets, tour packages, hotel and car rental reservations, train tickets and
cruises booked with an American Express Preferred Supplier2. In the event the chosen
holiday package purchased is worth more than the value of the Certificate, the
balance can be settled separately by using cash or a major credit card.
If the holiday package costs less than the value of the Certificate, we'll
issue you a new lower denomination Certificate to use on your next trip!
How can I pay for it?
You can pay for the American Express Travel Gift Certificate via cash, cheque3,
or the American Express Card. It's that flexible.
Can it be combined with other discounts or offers?
As long as you meet the terms and conditions of the other offers or discounts,
you can use the Gift Certificate just like you would cash.

Exclusively through participating American Express Travel Agencies4 in Canada. Use the travel office locator to find the Canadian office nearest you.
- American Express Travel Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash, Travellers Cheques or credit or as payment for any other transaction. Certificates are not replaceable if lost or stolen. Certificates are in Canadian funds.
