NEW YORK, October 20, 2003 -- American Express Company said today that it plans to host an investor conference call on Monday, October 27, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. (ET) to discuss third quarter earnings results, operating performance and other topics that may be raised during the discussion. The company's earnings results are scheduled to be announced earlier that day.
