This latest offering, exclusively developed for American Express KrisFlyer Gold Credit Cardmembers, provides a special bonus of 50 percent* more KrisFlyer miles for every dollar charged to the Card when cardmembers accumulate a spending of $5,000 or more during the offer period. This is the only credit card in the market that offers SIA’s KrisFlyer miles directly for every dollar spent on the card. This takes away the inconvenience, hassle and delay in converting reward points earned on credit cards to KrisFlyer miles.

Under the new offer announced today, American Express KrisFlyer Gold Credit Card customers will earn 1.5 miles for every S$1.60 spent on the Card, compared to the previous one mile for every S$1.60 spent. The accelerated rate of earning miles on the American Express KrisFlyer Gold Credit Card means that cardmembers need spend only S$16,000 on their Card to be eligible to redeem a Round Trip Economy Saver ticket to Bali. Most other cards require a minimum spend of S$37,500 for the same reward.

Frequent travellers on SIA already earn KrisFlyer miles every time they fly on the airline. As American Express KrisFlyer Gold Credit Cardmembers, they can earn KrisFlyer points on every dollar they spend on the Card, and for every SIA or SilkAir ticket purchased online, cardmembers earn double the KrisFlyer miles.
