DELTA SKYMILES® CREDIT CARDMEMBERS CAN EARN DOUBLE MILES ON RETAIL PURCHASES OCTOBER 15 THROUGH NOVEMBER 15
NEW YORK, October 15, 2004 -- American Express today announced a nationwide promotion that will give Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cardmembers double miles on all eligible retail purchases made on their Card from October 15 through November 15, 20041.
“Checking items off the shopping list just became an even more rewarding experience,” said Eva Reda, vice president, Delta Cobrands, American Express. “Cardmembers can get more value for the money they spend by earning double miles on their retail purchases -- whether buying sporting equipment for the kids or a winter coat for themselves.”
To take advantage of the special double miles promotion, Cardmembers must enroll their Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards at www.americanexpress.com/deltaenroll by November 15. Cardmembers who do not have Internet access can call 1-800-227-7081 to enroll.
Year round, Delta SkyMiles Credit Cardmembers earn two SkyMiles for every eligible dollar charged to the Card for purchases at stand-alone supermarkets, gas stations, drugstores, the U.S. Postal Service, wireless phone bills and Delta Air Lines through the Card's unique Always Double Miles®2 feature. During non-promotional periods, Cardmembers also earn one SkyMile for every eligible dollar charged for other purchases.
