NEW YORK, June 15, 2004 -- American Express today announced a nationwide promotion that will give all Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cardmembers the ability to earn double miles on all eligible retail, restaurant and entertainment purchases made on their Card from June 15 through July 15, 2004.

To take advantage of the special double miles promotion, cardmembers must enroll their Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards at: www.americanexpress.com/deltaenroll. Cardmembers who do not have Internet access can call 1-800-653-6051 to enroll.
Year round, Delta SkyMiles Credit Cardmembers earn two SkyMiles for every eligible dollar charged to the Card for purchases at qualifying stand-alone supermarkets, gas stations, drugstores, the U.S. Postal Service, wireless phone bills and Delta Air Lines through the Card's unique Always Double Miles® feature. During non-promotional periods, cardmembers also earn one SkyMile for every eligible dollar charged for other purchases.
