AMERICAN EXPRESS ACCEPTS JETBLUE AIRWAYS INTO ITS MEMBERSHIP REWARDS® PROGRAM BEGINNING TOMORROW

To Celebrate the New Partnership, 50 Lucky Winners Will Experience the Ultimate Reward This Week – A Bahamas Flyaway Vacation for Two and Concert with a Platinum-Selling Music Recording Artist

NEW YORK, December 07, 2004 -- Starting tomorrow, American Express® Cardmembers can transfer Membership Rewards points directly into JetBlue’s Flight Gratitude program, TrueBlue, for travel with the airline. The agreement with the Membership Rewards program from American Express marks JetBlue’s first-ever TrueBlue program partnership. JetBlue, named best domestic airline three years in a row by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler, joins a prestigious roster of 23 Membership Rewards airline partners.

To celebrate the new relationship and thank their mutual customers, the partners are sending 50 winners of an earlier contest to the Bahamas for a two-day vacation for two. Tomorrow, the winners will fly on JetBlue from New York’s JFK Airport to Nassau, where they will stay for two nights at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort on Paradise Island. At the resort, the winners and their guests will also enjoy an exclusive concert by a platinum-selling music recording artist. Some of the lucky winners are using the trip for their personal celebrations – including a honeymoon for a couple who wed on December 5th, 2004; a wedding anniversary trip; a birthday celebration; and a future lawyer in the midst of studying for final exams.
