TQ3NAVIGANT AND AMERICAN EXPRESS ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT TO OFFER AMERICAN EXPRESS COMMERCIAL CARD PRODUCTS TO TQ3NAVIGANT CLIENTS IN THE UNITED STATES

NEW YORK, September 8, 2004 -- Navigant International, Inc. (d/b/a TQ3NAVIGANT), the second largest provider of corporate travel management services in the U.S., and American Express, the world's leading corporate card issuer, announced today that they have signed an agreement to distribute American Express Commercial Cards to TQ3NAVIGANT's travel clients in the U.S. The agreement reflects an increasing interest among mid-sized and large companies to have an integrated corporate travel and entertainment expense program, with travel management services closely linked with the travel payment system.

The agreement announced today builds on the marketing alliance that TQ3 Travel Solutions forged with American Express in January 2004 to distribute the Corporate Card in a number of countries and to launch new co-branded payment products in Germany. TQ3 Travel Solutions and TQ3NAVIGANT entered into a joint venture agreement in March 2004.

TQ3NAVIGANT will now be marketing American Express payment solutions (including the Corporate Card, Corporate Meeting Card, American Express® / Business ExtrAA® Corporate Card, and Business Travel Account), which are designed to help companies better manage their T&E expenses, while identifying opportunities for cost savings. The cooperation adds the benefits delivered by American Express Commercial Cards to the services offered by TQ3NAVIGANT. American Express expense management solutions help companies control business expenses, streamline processes, improve terms with suppliers and manage risk.

“TQ3NAVIGANT offers its customers a full range of innovative corporate travel solutions, enabling companies to control, manage and report the costs associated with travel, and we believe that this partnership affords our clients important added benefits and furthers our ability to meet our clients' needs,” said Ed Adams, TQ3NAVIGANT Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We are very pleased to have found such a strong partner to provide our corporate customers with a superior payment solution on a global basis.”

Through this new relationship, American Express will broaden its ability to reach companies that are serious about managing costs. “This alliance will help us extend our marketing message, particularly to more mid-sized companies that can benefit significantly from a corporate payment solution,” said Anré Williams, Executive Vice President, U.S. Commercial Card for American Express. “TQ3NAVIGANT is taking an enlightened approach in offering the full spectrum of expense management solutions to its travel clients, and we look forward to working with them in delivering cost savings and service benefits to their customers.”

Terms of the distribution agreement announced today were not disclosed.
