NEW YORK, March 21, 2005 -- American Express today announced a nationwide promotion that gives Delta SkyMiles® Credit Cardmembers double miles on all purchases made on their Card(i) from now through April 15, 2005.

To take advantage of the special double miles promotion, Cardmembers must enroll their Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards at www.americanexpress.com/deltaoffers by April 15. Cardmembers who do not have Internet access can call 1-800-227-7081 to enroll.
Year round, Delta SkyMiles Credit Cardmembers earn two miles for every eligible dollar charged to the Card for purchases at stand-alone supermarkets, drug stores, gas stations, home improvement and hardware stores, the U.S. Postal Service, Delta purchases and for payment of wireless phone bills through the Card's unique Always Double Miles®(ii) feature. During non-promotional periods, Cardmembers also earn one mile for every eligible dollar charged for other purchases.
