AMERICAN EXPRESS TO LAUNCH THE IN:CHICAGO(SM) CARD, A NEW REWARDS CREDIT CARD THAT CELEBRATES THE FUN AND FLAIR OF THE WINDY CITY
NEW YORK, August 09, 2005 -- American Express today announced that this fall the company will launch the must-have item for hip Chicagoans in-the-know – the IN:CHICAGO Card, a credit card offering a bevy of rewards tied to the city's hottest locales for social Chicago residents who see going out as an essential part of living in Chicago.
The IN:CHICAGO Card will target young adults living in Chicago who want to tap into the city's most happening clubs and concerts, swankiest restaurants, and in-demand events. The Card will be a first of its kind in the city of Chicago.

The Card will come with no annual fee, a 0% introductory APR, and a one-of-a-kind rewards program that offers Chicagoans the opportunity to experience the city in cool new ways by spending in a variety of lifestyle and entertainment categories. Specific details on Rewards Partners and the program will be announced when the Card is released this fall.
Consumers can sign up to receive more information about the IN:CHICAGO Card when it's available later this year by going to www.inchicago.com and providing their e-mail address.
The IN:CHICAGO Card is the second city-centric credit card from American Express.
