AMERICAN EXPRESS BUSINESS TRAVEL NORTH AMERICA NAMES JULIE BOTTNER SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SERVICE DELIVERY NETWORK
Bottner Chosen to Lead Customer Service Delivery Teams in the U.S. and Canada
NEW YORK, February 16, 2006 -- American Express Business Travel, the world's largest travel management company, today announced the appointment of Julie Bottner as senior vice president, North America, Service Delivery Network. The Service Delivery Network serves as the operational infrastructure of Business Travel that manages the fulfillment of corporate travel reservations. In addition to leading the Service Delivery Network teams in the U.S. and Canada, Bottner will be responsible for developing customer servicing strategies and delivery across all customer segments.
Having managed the U.S. Business Travel Service Centers over the past six months and leading Service Delivery Network transformational initiatives, Bottner brings extensive experience to her role. She will report to Priyan Fernando, chief operating officer and executive vice president, Global Business Travel and join Business Travel's global operations management team.

Bottner joined Business Travel in 2004 as Vice President, Service Delivery and Network Optimization, leading the online servicing teams as well as the network's support infrastructure. She is a travel and expense management veteran, having been with American Express for 17 years. She began her career with American Express in Card Services in Greensboro, North Carolina. Bottner is based in Phoenix.
