GETTING ON A SCHEDULE
There are two ways to get on our schedules
1. Bid through your Career Services Office
2. A small number will be invited to interview
For an American Express campus interview, please see your Career Services Office. You should submit your resume directly through this office.
THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW
If you secure a spot on our interview schedule, you will be invited to attend an informal gathering during which you will learn more about American Express from people who work here. This is intended to be enjoyableso relax, listen, participate, and learn.
THE INTERVIEW
Understand that your initial interview is a screening interview. The interviewer assesses your skills and competencies against the skills necessary to be successful at American Express. This interview will be held on your campus or at an alternative location easily accessible from your campus.
NOW WHAT
You will be contacted within 48 hours either by phone or e-mail with the outcome of your interview. If you meet our criteria, you will be invited to interview with us on-site at American Express.
ON-SITE VISIT
Your day will consist of a series of interviews with a number of American Express employees. During your visit, you will meet people you might work with and learn more about the position for which you are being considered.
THE OFFER
Within a week of your visit, you should receive a phone call or e-mail informing you of our final decision. If you receive an offer, take your time before making a decision. We will work with you to ensure all your questions are addressed and if you accept our offer, we will assist you to ensure that your transition from school to American Express is as smooth as possible.
