What is the Direct Debit Initiative?
The Direct Debit Initiative enables you to make payments to American Express when your American Express transactions are insufficient to collect any outstanding amounts. We may not need to use the Direct Debit facility, but if we do, we'll let you know five working days ahead of time with one easy-to-understand statement. So balancing your accounts and managing your cash flow is worry free.

Am I eligible to sign up for Direct Debit?
You need to be an American Express Merchant on Direct Credit to be eligible for Direct Debit.

How do I set up my Direct Debit?
Simply download and complete the Direct Debit Instruction and return it to us at the address indicated on the form. Before returning your Instruction, please ensure that all parties needed to authorise debits from your Bank have signed it. Also make sure you've provided us with the same Bank account details for where you currently receive your American Express payments.
